Stay away from coffee or alcohol that day, and even the night before. These beverages can increase your risk for bleeding and bruising during your appointment. Always eat something before your appointment. This can help with any light headedness you may feel after injections, which is completely normal. Bring a friend or family member with you if you’re nervous.
