What are the differences between Botox and dermal fillers?
Wrinkle Relaxers, also known as ‘tox or the general name of Botox, are a great tool when attempting to achieve a reduction in movement which will then inherently smooth out unwanted fine lines and wrinkles. Botox treatments can be done throughout the face and neck to minimize signs of aging. When injected in the right location and with the right dosage these treatments can provide an awakened, refreshed and more youthful appearance.
Dermal fillers are used to restore volume, add contour to the face, and further define bony structures to accomplish your aesthetic goals. As we age, our natural fat pads tend to shrink and collagen production decreases. This can cause a “sagging” effect due to the lack of support underneath the skin. Dermal fillers and bio-stimulators can be used to add volume and create a lifted, more youthful appearance. While dermal fillers work to provide support and rebuild facial structures, bio-stimulators will be used to treat skin laxity helping your body restore lost collagen.
