The SkinPen® Treatment
The SkinPen® treatment begins with a thorough cleaning of the skin, followed by the application of a topical anesthetic for 15 to 20 minutes. Your provider will then delicately position the small pen on target area. The SkinPen® administers controlled micro-punctures to the skin treatment and is usually completed in about 30 minutes.
SkinPen® Recovery
Following a SkinPen® treatment, a brief downtime maybe needed. Anticipate mild redness and a snug sensation for the initial one to three days. This may feel like a slight sunburn or windburn. You can resume regular activities, including work and school, the same afternoon. Makeup is advised against for the initial 12 hours post-treatment, and your normal skincare routine can be resumed after two to three days. It’s important to steer clear of prolonged sun exposure for the first 10 days.
Who is a Good Candidate for the SkinPen® Treatment?

As the procedure is minimally invasive and poses no significant harm to the skin, it is generally safe for most patients.
